  • These treats are freeze dried, which retains the nutritional value of the protein without cooking them.  They remain raw.

The packet was half powder

The package I got must was mostly powder, at least half of the content was. My cat liked the solid pieces but most were so dry they turned to powder she did not like that at all. Considering how expensive this is I would expect better quality. I could not find a way to make a complaint as the contact us tab was only for international or wholesale buyers. My cat loves other products on this site, but I wouldn't buy this one.

Thank you so much for sharing this feedback We’re so sorry your experience with the Premium Range Goat Offal wasn’t up to standard. Some crumbling can happen with freeze-dried treats due to a few factors, such as the type of protein, how it’s stored, and even handling in transit. Softer or more delicate varieties can sometimes break down more easily. That said, we completely understand how disappointing it is.

A good way to use the powdered portion is as a meal topper — sprinkling it over your cat’s regular food can still provide the same nutrition and flavour.

So we can assist you further, could you please contact us at support@thepawgrocer.com with your order number? We’ll be happy to look into this for you and make it right. Thanks again for flagging this — we really value your feedback.✨

Love this but…..

I started feeding my cat your foods on top of her kibble then noticed she started avoiding her head being stroked as she would shake her ears like she was itchy so yesterday I took her to the vet thinking she might have mites but her ears are clean and she is 2 yrs 6 months the vet took a sample from her ears and looked under a microscopic . He came back saying she has developed allergies. So told me to change her kibble to sensitive but could it be the meat from your company? I hope not as she loves it I was going to make another order today now I’m unsure what to do I now have to give her meds every day but other than my cats medical stuff I thought this food is great and I hope it’s not her meat toppers as she loves it

Goat Offal

It was not enjoyed by dear Lola, a Lynx point Siamese who enjoys her food. She loves tge salmon bellies and the chicken thighs. I think that the Goat Offal must have been too strong and rich for her. She ate some of it but ent very quiet and walked away from it to digest. We gifted the bag to a Dog friend who enjoyed very much! 👍☺️

We really appreciate you trying the Goat Offal with Lola. It’s definitely one of our bolder treats, and not every feline is a fan. We're so glad it didn’t go to waste and that her favourites like the salmon bellies and chicken thighs are still a hit! ✨
